Social Media

– Role: Designer Working Student

– Task: Creating social media templates and visuals for LIH LinkedIn account for each category following the LIH’s brand identity.

We had different categories like job positions, reports, quotes, start-up news, events, podcasts, press picks etc. and in order to have a consistent visualisation on our LinkedIn account, I used the created templates but also changed them slightly to give a little bit of variety and break the repetition.

Icon Set

I started to work on an icon set that was going to be on the Culture Page of LIH, which I then extended by adding more icons including basic concepts.

The idea of this icon set was for different teams in the company to use on their presentations, reports and etc.

The weight of icons are 12 px & I worked at a 192 x 192 px grid.

Business Model
Pattern Cards

Transformation team of LIH briefed me to create Business Model Pattern Cards to use at their workshops.

I designed icons according to Business Model of the cards, designed the whole layout & prepared the files to print.

There were 60 cards in total.

Canvases for
Businesses

Creating canvases was another print task I had.

I was creating the canvases the transformation team briefed me about. It was mostly checking out the original canvases online and shaping them into our branding or sometimes coming up with a complete new design or idea.

– Designed a roll up for the office and to be brought to events LIH was joining or hosting and sticker set for employees to use.

– Also designed stickers for the employees to use on their computers.

Office Area Naming

I named the open areas, meeting rooms and photo booths of our new office.

The concept “Aviation” was going from biggest areas to smallest:
– Open areas
– Meeting Rooms
– Phone Booths

For the open areas I used the concept “space”, since it is the biggest thing we can imagine, related with aviation.
I named them as “Milkyway” & “Stargaze” because those open areas were where we do workshops, inspire each other and get together.

The meeting rooms were where we landed our ideas, so I called them as cities where the innovation is huge like Nairobi, where two continents are connected like Istanbul, where lots of people live and fly to like New York and Bangkok.

Last but not least was the Phone booths where small and online meetings held place. For them, I used NATO phonetic alphabet, because we were communicating and informing each other online, not physically, just like the phonetic alphabet.
